Preparing for the Final
There is no right or wrong way to prepare for your final assessment. Provided you are familiar with the material in this course and have read the material you should do well on the final. You may wish to review your weekly objectives which I am providing for you here in an embedded word perfect file to help guide your studies. The questions will be similar to the ones asked on your weekly quizzes and are designed to focus your attention on the weekly objectives that are at the start of each lesson you have been assigned.
The final week (9th) will be review. During Monday - Thursday you should use the time normally spent going over new material reviewing areas of this course you might be weak in or have not had a chance to review yet. The final assessment will be ready for you to take Friday. You must have the completed final in by midnight on Sunday after the test is available. The test procedure will be the same as your weekly quiz and you will follow those directions for completing the test.
In order to prepare for the essay portion of the final assessment you need to focus on your weekly disucussion questions. The essay questions will be based off your weekly discussion boards. You will be expected to provide detailed, well thought out answers providing concrete examples based on the historical facts you have learned and not personal feelings unless the question calls for opinion based on beliefs you have formed as a result of your exposure to this class.
Finally you can use the time this week to complete your power point presentation originally discussed in Lesson 1 and which is due by Thursday of this week.
ENJOY YOUR REVIEW AND GOOD LUCK ON YOUR TEST
